Polka Dot Love Notes

Whenever I write a card to Zach for a holiday, I always resort to thinking that there isn't enough room on the card to write how much I love him and my thankfulness for having him in my life for that holiday, and all days. Valentine's Day, specifically, is a day I always want to keep telling Z how much I love him and why. This year, like many years, I am not home for Feb. 14th to spend time with Zach, so I decided I would mail him a card that would allow me to write as much as I wanted, but in a fun way.

I bought a super cute Rifle Paper Co. card (my go to paper goods brand) and filled the card and envelope with A LOT of additional sweet, short messages, thank yous, and I love yous. I wrote them out on 1 1/2" paper dot cut outs. He will be surprised to open the envelope and see the love dots. It may take him a while to get through them all, but I am sure that they will bring a smile to his face. If anything, he will be overjoyed that I didn't fill the envelope with teeny confetti or glitter - something I would possibly do. I'll save that for a time when I am mad at him ;)

Love is in the air and on it's way to our mailbox in Miami! xo RCN
