Longest Lashes From Babe Lash

When my best friend asked if I recently got eyelash extensions, I was thrilled! I did not get extensions, no fakes whatsoever. What a compliment! Thanks to my new favorite beauty product, Babe Lash Eyelash Serum, these longer-looking lashes are all mine and natural.

I've contemplated splurging to get my lashes professionally done for a long time now. Between the cost of what I already spend on nails and hair on a monthly basis, I just haven't been sure about adding to the beauty budget. I was about to make the commitment, because I just really LOVE long lashes, but then I was introduced to Babe Lash Eyelash Serum and no longer needed to consider extensions. A three month supply of Babe Lash comes to 1/3 of the cost if I were to replenish extensions each month. I'm not very good at keeping up with a beauty routine, but decided if anything, long lashes were worth sticking to the routine for a month of Babe Lash to see if I would achieve results. Best news ever - it worked wonders and saved me a lot of money, too! My eyelashes apeared noticeably longer within five weeks.

The serum is super easy to use. I only dip the eyelash brush into the serum once and then apply a thin little line across my lid just above the lashes. One stroke on each eyelid before I go to bed at night after I wash and dry my face. You can even use the serum on eyebrows, which I have just started doing this week. I'll keep you posted on the progress there.

The serum in combination with the Babe Lash Fiber Extend Mascara or Volumizing Mascara, really makes me feel like a modern day Twiggy. I have been switching on and off with either mascara depending whether I need water resistant or not. Beach days, I go for the water resistant volumizing. Girl's night, I go for the fiber extend. I've really been loving the way the Fiber Extend looks. It defines my lashes very clearly, and makes them appear pretty long. The tube is a two in one, mascara and fibers, each in a separate end of the tube. First you apply a coat of the mascara and then while wet, you gently add/press some of the fibers to the lashes, let dry and then add another coat of the mascara. If you have never used something like this before, it only takes one or two times to get used to it and then it's perfection.

Brilliant Birthday

I promised myself that as I headed into this year, with my birthday marking the beginning of 2018, I wanted to get myself looking as great as ever. With so many things I cannot control in this crazy world, looking great and feeling good (while still eating a cupcake or two) is something I can have a handle on. So, over the past two weeks I began whitening my teeth with Smile Brilliant teeth whitening gel and custom fitted mouth trays. So far, so good! It's been only two weeks and I have already started to notice a difference, and what a relief! As a coffee drinker, wine drinker and someone that just doesn't have the greatest teeth in general, these pearly whites are starting to make me happier than ever. It's true, even as a little girl, my teeth have been one thing I am sometimes self conscious of.

I created my custom mouth impressions using the putty and mouth guards that Smile Brilliant sent in the mail (all part of the kit). The instructions were uber easy, thankfully, as I was a little nervous at first, but SO easy!! Then, with a return envelope already to go, I mailed the impressions back and eagerly awaited the final permanent mouth pieces. After just a couple weeks, my final whitening trays were here and I was ready to start the whitening process. The whitening gel comes in syringes that are easy to squirt right onto the front inner surface of the mouth trays. I have been using about 1/3 of a syringe per whitening session.

 The best part about whitening, since my teeth are not too sensitive, is that I have been able to whiten for up to a couple hours at a time, at least 2x day. Sounds like a lot of time to devote to whitening, but Smile Brilliant was pretty much made for multitaskers ;) Last weekend for my last bday hoorah, I baked cupcakes while I whitened in the morning and then finished getting ready for my dinner date with Z at night. I would deem this a brilliant birthday gift. This is one gift that I will keep using so I can continue to reap the benefits. Happy Birthday to me!

I can't believe I'm 31! It feels like only a few months ago I turned the big 3-0. This year for my bday I am all about beauty products, especially those that are in the aid to make me look as good as ever. After all, now that I am 31, I need all the helpful products I can get as I venture into another year of life. New Obsession - THOZ MD →

So, I think I may have mentioned before, I am not a huge beauty and skincare guru. However, as I get older, yes I am now 30 folks, I have learned to respect my skin more than ever. Maybe, it's all the extra sun I have been soaking up in Florida, or just inevitable with time, but I have noticed over the last year or so, a major need for more moisturizing, hydrating, wrinkle prevention and (of course) sun protection. If you know me or have seen any closeup pics, I am quite the freckle face. And because of this, I am also in need of some correction to level out my skin tone. That right there, is what has been the hardest for me. It's not so easy to find a product that can help me out with that. 

Lucky for me, one of the first friends I met in Miami, Raine, introduced me to her skincare line developed in the lab by her husband, Daniel, whom runs his own Plastic Surgery practice here in Miami. If I am going to trust someone with my skin, aside from my dermatologist, it would be Dr. Calva. And...it doesn't make me break out. The results of evening out blemishes and brightening my skin will take a little longer.
